Maulana Azad University, Faculty of Education is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research and professional development in fields of Education. The Faculty came into being in 2017. The Faculty offers a wide range of undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral programmes designed to prepare future educators, with the knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding required to thrive in diverse educational settings.

With a team of experienced faculty, the Faculty of Education fosters an environment that nurtures intellectual growth, professional competence and a lifelong passion for learning and service. The department offers 4-Year Integrated Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Education (B.A. B.Ed.), 4-Year Integrated Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Education (B.Sc. B.Ed.), Master of Arts in Education (M.A. Education) and Doctor of Philosophy in Education (Ph.D.).

Maulana Azad University is affiliated to UGC and our education department is affiliated to NCTE.

The Faculty has a team of technically qualified and academically competent teachers. Teachers are engaged not only in teaching but also in undertaking research projects and guiding research. They actively participate in several academic fora at regional, national and international levels, such as seminars, conferences and workshops.

Admission Procedure

For admission to B.A.B.Ed./BSc.BEd. in our University is done purely on merit basis .The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate. However SC, ST, OBC, SBC as well as physically challenged and widow or divorce women candidate of Rajasthan having at least 45 % marks in aggregate in the Senior Secondary examination will be eligible to apply for admission.
