We at, Maulana Azad University believe in overall development of students through various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. To accomplish this aim our students are involved in activities such as blood donation camps, science fair, hindi/english debate competitions, quiz competitions, poster presentation competitions, rangoli making competitions, tree plantation etc. Below are the glimpses of such activities
Since the time immemorial India had been a place of healthy and active souls. Games & sports are inseparable parts of a healthy human life. The Maulana Azad University has organised Sports and Cultural Week in January. Students belonging to different disciplines of study participated in different games and university staff also added its active support to this event. The sports and cultural week manual encouraged students towards the importance of health, sports, games and recognition.
The 11th President of India, Bharat Ratan Dr. APJ Kalam is the source of inspiration for the entire world. On his name, the University students organised a science fair at near by school; promoting the innovative and inspiring ideas of science. In this fair student presented modules of solar system, wind energy, railways, water conservation, climate protection, computer science and artificial intelligence.
A team of students of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak Haryana visited Maulana Azad University through the cooperation of Youth Redcross Cultural Exchange Programme. A team of 35 students of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak (Harayana) visited Maulana Azad University through the cooperation of Youth Redcross Cultural Exchange Programme and paid tribute to the Indian Army Martyrs in Pulwama attack. This patriotic movement inspired inter university students towards the respect and honour of Indian Army. The nation first, this motto was engraved through the joint cooperation of the inter university officials. The service for nation is the fundamental duty of every Indian citizen of Indian and its detail has also been mentioned in the article 51 A of Indian Constitution.
Mohd Abid, a student, Maulana Azad University won bronze medal in Taekwondo and Kwan organised by Maharishi Dayanad University, Rohtak (Haryana) at national level. The remarkable performance of this student has made a notable inspiration among the competitive participants and others. As he returned to Maulana Azad University, he was again appreciated honoured by the management team.
India represents unity in diversity said the first prime minister of India Shri. Jawahar Lal Nehru. His words are an ultimate source of inspiration for Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb. A Roza Iftar program was organised in the holy month of Ramadhan where people belonging to different religious believe come together on a common platform and made a prayer for endless integration of love among communities. This was a really moment of enormous pride when people gathered together to make a common prayer that we are creation of one Lord and we should love, respect and care for each other. This incidence took big space in the leading print media of Rajasthan state.
All Rajasthan National Cadet Corps (NCC Student) and Student of Maulana Azad University participated in Yoga on the occasion of International Yoga Day at Jodhpur 21-06-18.
A blood donation camp was organised with a motto that blood can save lives and blood cannot be produced via artificial process.
