Conferences/ seminars /workshops offer excellent opportunity to gain more about the related field and tap into the knowledge of experts of the related field. These extension programs convey an extensive array of functional and practical information in a short stretch of time. It facilitates face to face interaction of students and industry experts, academician, peers and clients exchanging thought and knowledge how you might work together in future for the betterment of the related profession, society and nation as a whole.

Keeping in track with this idea, Maulana Azad University, organizes various conferences/ seminars and workshop timely. Below are the glimpses of few such extension program organized by the University

1. Two days workshop on “Positive thinking can only brings positive changes” by Indian Initiative Behavioural Insights Research – New Delhi on 1 March 2019

A two days workshop was conducted by the Ms. Dolly Jamwal, the president, Indian Initiative of Behavioural Insights Research. This workshop was aimed on that positive thinking brings positive changes in lives and optimism is the inseparable part of a winners life. In this two days workshop programme, the Maulana Azad University staff members and students both were guided and trained. The brain is the controller of a human body, how to use it optimally to shape the desired behaviour was the key element of this workshop. This experimental based workshop is still in continuation with the team of Ms. Dolly Jamwal.

2. Department of Pharmacy organised a one day conference on the theme “An endeavour to bridge industry-institution gap” on 21 Sep 2019. Renowned speakers with expertise in the sector were invited:

  • Dr. Rakesh K Patel, Deputy Director (Pro-Vice Chancelor), Ganpat University, Gujrat, India, delivered a talk on “An endeavour to bridge industry-institution gap”
  • Dr. Vinay Kumar, Manager (Development Consulting and Scientific affairs) Pharma Lex India, New Delhi, India, delivered a talk on “Role of Pharmacist in industry as medical writer”.
  • Dr. M. Amir Mirza, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, delivered a talk on “Need and direction of training of budding scientists for better industrial output”.

3. Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur organized a “Career Counseling & Motivational Workshop by 'Sayyed Saeed Ahmed' on 06 July, 2017 at Indigo Sr. Sec. School Jodhpur Rajasthan.

4. Udaan Express ‘Design Your Own Future’ Career Counseling & Motivational Workshop Saeed Sir Sayyed Saeed Ahmed, Pune International Motivational Trainer cum Counsellor 10 July, 2017.

5. “Education for All' Campaign & Motivational Workshop by Maulana Azad University Jodhpur 18 July, 2017

6. "Towards Equality, Justice and Fraternity in Contemporary India Creating A Better Tomorrow Through Islamic Studies” 2 Days National Seminar at Maulana Azad University Jodhpur 20 & 21-10-2017.

7. Faculty Development Program on Entrepreneurship

Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur in collaboration with Rajasthan Consultancy Organisation limited, Jaipur organised two weeks Faculty Development Programme on ENTREPRENEURSHIP, sponsored by National Science and Technology, Government of India and EDI, from 14 Mar 2019 to 27 Mar 2019.

8. Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp

Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur in collaboration with Rajasthan Consultancy Organisation limited, Jaipur organised three days, Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp for final year students of Science and Technology, Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur, sponsored by National Science and Technology, Government of India and EDI, from 14 Mar 2019 to 16 Mar 2019.

Guest Lecture

Inviting experts from diverse streams can furnish valuable information from their experience and encounters which would help students to acquire the latest updates, technical know how, obstacles, scope etc of concerned areas. These are designed to help students prepare for the world of work. Keeping in track with this idea, our University invites experts as Guest lecture to enlighten our students with their knowledge and experience. Besides, organising guest lecture to furnish professional guidance to the our students, the University also organises guest lecture focused social issues and ongoing problems of the society

1. A Guest Lecture was organised on Jan 23, 2019, Prof. Amjad Khan delivered a lecture on HVAC.

2. A Guest Lecture by “Salem Nanjundaiah Subba Rao”.

3. 10 April 2019: Department of Public Health, Faculty of Science, Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur organised a guest lecture on “Oral cancer” on 10 April 2019. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Anirudh Agnihotri, Specialist in Oral cancer and Dental health.
