Overview

The Master of Social Work (MSW) program at Maulana Azad University Jodhpur is a postgraduate professional degree designed to prepare skilled social work practitioners committed to social justice, human development, and community welfare. The program focuses on developing knowledge, values, and practical skills required to work effectively with individuals, families, groups, and communities.

Students receive intensive academic training along with extensive fieldwork exposure in areas such as community development, medical and psychiatric social work, rural and urban development, women and child welfare, and social welfare administration. The course prepares graduates for professional roles in government agencies, NGOs, healthcare institutions, and development organizations, as well as for higher academic pursuits.
