- Policy for Grievance Redress Mechanism of Scholars:
- 1. The Ph.D. Candidate having any kind of grievance related to research work shall apply in writing about the type of grievance he/she is facing to his allocated supervisor.
- 2. The allocated supervisor will forward the grievance, as placed by the candidate to the concerned Research Advisory Committee (RAC) at departmental/faculty level.
- 3. The concerned RAC will call a meeting within the department/faculty and resolve the grievance of the candidate.
- 4. The RAC will then inform (in writing) the concerned supervisor and his/her Ph.D. candidate about the redressal of said grievance and maintain a file for all these correspondences.
- 5. For grievances related to office matters (like receipts for fee deposited/course work letter/letter for change of guide/routine correspondence etc.), the RAC shall report the matter to concerned university department/office and try to resolve the matter. Later the resolution of grievance will be informed to the supervisor and Ph.D. candidate.
