Scouts

The Bharat Scouts and Guides (BS&G) is the National Scouting and Guiding Association on India registered under the Societies Registration Act. It is a non-official, non-political, non-sectarian and non-communal organisation. Scouting and Guiding was founded in India in 1909 and 1911 respectively. The aim of Scouting and Guiding is four fold:

• Formation of sound health habits
• Training in the handicraft and the acquiring of useful skills
