President's Message

Maulana Azad University ,Jodhpur was established with the resolute determination of its founding members to provide higher education to most deprived and marginalized section of the society, the move towards inter-disciplinary studies, an institution that would manifest indigenous ethos and spirit of plurality.

Research based and interactive learning with technology integration have opened up several options as well as created multiple challenges. India is at a juncture where a huge population of young men and women are opting for higher education. In the wake of privatization of education on increase in India, the major focus is on creating an optimized and vibrant platform for quality in knowledge enhancement and bridging the gap between academia and industry with an objective to build up core competence in students integrating knowledge with skills on the foundation of ethics and values. Adequate infrastructure is always a priority for the University. The basic facilities available on the campus include administrative building, Faculty buildings, Library, Student Hostels, It is proposed to start a Research and Consultancy Promotion Cell (RCPC) to promote and strengthen research programs of our University. It is also felt that the consultancy programmes needs to be strengthened to encourage the faculty

I strongly believe Maulana Azad University, Jodhpur is marching ahead in the right direction, providing a holistic education to the future generation and playing a positive role in nation building. We reiterate our endeavor to provide premium quality education accessible to all and an environment for the growth of over-all personality development leading to generating “Global Professionals”. Highly experienced and qualified faculty members, continuously engaged in the maintenance and enhancement of student-centric learning environment through innovative pedagogy, form the backbone of the University.

We strive to realize our vision “to create a human universe that offers inclusiveness, equity, fellowship, justice and peace for one and all”

The processes of Admissions and Examinations are fully computerised. The University provides a safe and peaceful environment that is conducive to learning with the active support of students, faculty, administrative staff and the University authorities.
